Man arrested after shots fired at Madison Denny's

MADISON (WKOW) -- A 20-year-old man was arrested after shots were fired in the parking lot of Denny's Restaurant on Thierer Road.

According to Madison Police, Jamal Greer was arrested when police arrived to the parking lot after receiving a report gunshots had been fired just before 4 a.m. Sunday.

Police found blood and shell casings.  Two vehicles had drove off, but both were stopped by officers.

Greer provided a fake name and was arrested.  He was charged with obstructing.

Police say no victims have been contacted.
