Badgers add options at defensive back

Posted: Updated:

MADISON, WI (WKOW) -- Perhaps the Wisconsin football team's most glaring issue this spring is the lack of depth at the defensive back position.

With the departure of Dez Southward, coach Gary Andersen has made several moves to try to add options in the backfield.

Junior A.J. Jordan moved from wide receiver to cornerback during bowl practices last year. He now seems to be in the running to start at safety alongside sophomore Sojourn Shelton.

Vonte Jackson has also moved to the defense from running back.
