UPDATE: No unsupervised visits with kids for Dodge Co. mom

DODGE COUNTY (WKOW) -- Secoy Koch-Miller made an initial appearance in Dodge County court Monday morning.

The 25-year-old had her children removed from her town of Burnett home for living in deplorable conditions.  In the home were her mother, newborn daughter and her two-year-old son.  

Officials say the little boy was underweight and had spiders in his hair.

In court, the judge ordered Koch-Miller to have no unsupervised contact with her children and bond was set at $1,000.  Her next court appearance is scheduled for May 1.

DODGE COUNTY (WKOW) -- The mother who had her children removed from home for having an "uninhabitable home" is expected in court today.

25 year old Secoy Koch-Miller was arrested last week when Dodge County Sheriff's Deputies found her living with her mother, newborn daughter and 2-year-old son in deplorable conditions.

Officials say they toddler was underweight and had spiders in his hair. Koch-Miller has been charged with 2 counts of child neglect-one which equals a felony.

Both of the children are now in foster care.
