Marathon County man involved in cockfighting ring turns himself in

(MARATHON COUNTY) -- A Weston man involved in a cockfighting ring investigation is now behind bars after turning himself in Monday.

35-year-old Bee Her was charged with 7 felony charges that include animal fighting, animal cruelty, and gambling on Feb. 24. Her was apparently in Minnesota before surrendering.

According to court documents, investigators found roosters at Her's home with injuries that indicate they were involved in fighting ring.

Marathon County Sheriff's Department says Her turned himself in Monday afternoon.
