MADISON (WKOW) -- Bonnell Hanger, 39, waived his preliminary hearing in a Dane County courtroom Thursday morning, for the shooting death of his 33-year-old brother, Fredrica.
Earlier this month, the Hanger brothers got into an argument and that's when the shooting took place. Police spokesperson Joel DeSpain confirmed there was an on-going dispute between the two. Neither DeSpain nor court records specify the nature of the dispute.
A judge has ordered Hanger to have no direct or indirect contact with three specific people. He is also not to threaten or direct any acts of violence against anyone. Hanger is not to be on Cordelia Crescent, Stein Avenue or Commercial Avenue in Madison.
The judge also states Hanger is not to possess any dangerous weapon. He is not to use or be in possession of any controlled substances or drug paraphernalia without a valid prescription.
