UPDATE: Fire dept. gives all clear at East High

MADISON (WKOW) -- A spokeswoman for the Madison Fire Department tells 27 News there was actually no fire inside East High School Thursday afternoon. 

Lori Wirth states an extinguisher was discharged on the second floor of the building.  All students and staff are being let back inside.
MADISON (WKOW) -- Dane County Communications confirms to 27 News reports of smoke have been called in from East High School and a full structure fire response is underway.

The building is being evacuated.
