Vetter shows off Silver Medal at Monona Grove High School

Posted: Updated:

COTTAGE GROVE (WKOW) -- Former Badger goaltender Jessie Vetter returned to her hometown of Cottage Grove on Friday. Monona Grove High School held a "Welcome Back" ceremony for Vetter, who is just a few weeks removed from playing in the women's hockey gold medal game of the Olympics in Sochi. Team USA did not win the gold, losing 3-2 in overtime to Canada, but Vetter still has plenty of pride in silver. To see the video version of this story, click on the link.
