MADISON (WKOW) -- Two Chicago men have been charged with identity theft after a police chase from Madison to DeForest.

According to Madison police, Albert J. Gordon and Ralph NMI Williams were "attempting to buy merchandise fraudulently" when police arrived at the Sears in East Towne Mall just before 4 p.m. Friday.

The two men were picked up by a UHaul truck and they led police in a pursuit onto the interstate.  Dane County Sheriff's Office and the State Patrol took over the pursuit that eventually ended near DeForest.
