WI DNR disciplined 26 workers last year

Posted: Updated:

MADISON (AP) -- Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources records show agency employees watched videos of girls on a state computer, made inappropriate comments to other employees, physically attacked a co-worker, and misused a state boat.

An Associated Press review of 2013 DNR discipline records found agency managers sent 26 letter reprimanding, suspending, or terminating employees last year.

The letters represent less than 1 percent of DNR's roughly 2,625 employees.

One employee viewed pornography on his state computer.  One took his children fishing on a state boat.  Another punched a co-worker in the back.  Another told a co-worker he was undressing her with his eyes.
