Madison police look for missing UW student

Posted: Updated:

MADISON (WKOW) -- Police are searching for a man missing from the UW-Madison campus.

Madison police say Nakul Kalra, 21, was last seen at Union South Saturday around 3 p.m. His family and friends have not heard from him since, which police say is very uncharacteristic. At this time, police tell 27 News there is nothing suspicious about Kalra's disappearance but say it is unusual he hasn't made contact with anyone.

UW-Madison police are also assisting in the search and say Kalra is a student at UW.

Kalra is 5'5", 175 pounds with black neck-length hair and brown eyes. He may be carrying a blaze orange satchel with a laptop.

Police ask anyone with information on Kalra's whereabouts to call 911.
