Deadly Beloit fire ruled accidental

Posted: Updated:
BELOIT (WKOW) -- Investigators in Beloit ruled the cause of a deadly house fire as accidental.

Clint Christensen and his daughter Jaime Christensen died in the fire on March 5.

Fire officials say the fire started in the dining room of the home, but they still don't know the exact cause.

They say it could have been started by the wiring of a ceiling light fixture or a humidifier.

Clint's wife, Caren Christensen, was able to get out of the home.

She was treated and released from UW Hospital.
