Edgewood College announces new president

Posted: Updated:
MADISON (WKOW) -- A familiar face around Edgewood College has been chosen as the school's seventh president.

Scott Flanagan has served as Executive Vice President for the past 16 years, and will take over as president in August.
Edgewood conducted a nationwide search for the right candidate and it ultimately decided Flanagan was the right man for the job.

Flanagan says, "This college has grown and thrived over the past 25 years and it's our task, the task falls to us to make sure that were poised to make sure that this college is successful in the next 25 years, and beyond."

Flanagan will replace current President Dan Carey, who is retiring after ten years at Edgewood.
