Big changes coming to Miller Park this season

Posted: Updated:
MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- Opening day at Miller Park is just days away and with every new season comes new improvements both on and off the field.

This year fans can look forward to new items to buy, new foods to try and new seats to sit back and relax in while watching the Brew Crew.

The team will be selling used game balls for $35 a pop; and speaking of popping, Brewers COO Rick Schlesinger says used champagne bottles will also be for sale.

"The champagne is from the 2011 playoff clincher when we clinched the NL Central," Schlesinger says. "My goal is to have a lot more of those to sell after 2014 so we need the players to cooperate."

Some of the most anticipated additions this season are the AJ Bombers burgers and ice cream. Workers there hope to make the burgers as big ahome runn as possible.

More seats are being added to the new Toyota Territory in right-center field.

"Last year it was a 24 seat area," Schlesinger says. "Now it's more than 100 seats."

Opening day is Monday, March 31 when the Brewers take on the Atlanta Braves.

The T-G-I-Friday's bar at Miller Park has also renovated, and the team store has been expanded.
