Baraboo woman suffers life threatening injuries in two-vehicle crash

POYNETTE (WKOW) -- A Baraboo woman has life threatening injuries after a two-vehicle crash early Sunday morning in Columbia County.

Two cars, a Toyota Scion and a Toyota Corolla, were traveling south on Interstate 39 when they collided around 12:54 a.m. The Corolla, which was driven by Gabriella Skaife, 33, of Baraboo, went into the median and rolled over, eventually coming to a rest in the northbound lane. She was taken to University of Wisconsin Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The Scion stayed in the southbound lanes. The driver, Scott Albrecht, 34, of Oronoco, Minn. suffered minor injuries. He was arrested for causing injury by intoxicated use of a vehicle.
