Final day for four state senators

Posted: Updated:
MADISON (WKOW) -- Tuesday is the final day in session for four retiring state senators, as the Wisconsin Senate is wrapping up its business for the year.

Barring a special session, it will be the last meeting day for the Senate and all four are scheduled to give parting remarks. There is a chance all four may be back if Gov. Scott Walker calls a special session to pass a voter ID bill.

Three Democrats are not running for re-election. They're Bob Jauch, of Poplar, Tim Cullen, of Janesville, and John Lehman, of Racine. Dale Schultz, of Richland Center, is the only Republican not running again.

Lehman is running for lieutenant governor.
