Cement shipments iced out of Green Bay

Posted: Updated:
GREEN BAY (WKOW) -- The ice on Lake Michigan is making cement companies in the Green Gay area nervous.
The ice is still so thick that ships can't get into the bay to deliver cement.
Companies can get cement by truck or rail, but it costs a lot more and they transport considerably less.

For now, terminals are absorbing the increase, but eventually it'll make its way down to contractors, who'll have to charge more for projects.
