12-year old arrested after pointing BB gun at passing cars

Posted: Updated:
MADISON (WKOW) -- A 12-year old Madison boy was arrested and taken to the Juvenile Reception center last night after pointing a gun at passing cars on Raymond Road.

Police say they were notified by a concerned citizen, and when they arrived on the scene, two younger males tossed handguns into a bush near an apartment building.

The weapons turned out to be two BB guns.

There were a total of three boys in the group, and they all ran when police showed up, but the boy who had been pointing the weapon was caught and taken into custody on tentative charges of disorderly conduct while armed, and a minor in possession of a BB/pellet gun.
