Zumbathon to raise money for Safe Harbor

Posted: Updated:
MADISON (WKOW) -- The Wisconsin Wellness Campaign is raising money for children in need.

The organization hosted its 8th annual UW Wellness Day Expo on the UW-Madison campus Saturday. The campaign held a three-hour Zumbathon to raise money for services at the Safe Harbor Advocacy Center.

Safe Harbor serves as a resource for children who have been abused or neglected.

"I think it's an important charity in this community because it really helps protect children that have been abused or neglected," says Lori Devine, Wellness Expo chairperson.

The expo also included a fitness challenge competition, NFL play 60 for kids, free food and giveaways.
