Sexual assault reported at UW campus dorm

MADISON (WKOW) -- Police are investigating a report of a sexual assault on the UW-Madison campus.

According to UW-Madison police, someone reported a sexual assault at a campus residence hall around 1:30 a.m. Sunday. The department has released few details about what happened, but ask anyone with information about the crime to contact police at (608) 264-COPS.

The suspect is described as a white man, 18 to 20 years old, 5'10" to 6' tall, thin build and shoulder length, dark brown hair.
