Local United Way chapter participates in National Volunteer Week

MADISON (WKOW) -- This is national volunteer week, and United Way of Dane County is joining the nationwide celebration of all the work volunteers do in our communities.

Jay Young, with United Way of Dane County, says this week is about recognizing all of the volunteers and to encourage other individuals to take action.

United Way's Agenda for Change campaign focuses on three areas; education, safety and health.
