LIBERTY TOWNSHIP (WKOW) -- The Grant County Sheriff's Office releases the name of a person killed in an ATV accident last week.
The accident happened Thursday, April 3 around 7:45 p.m. on Coon Hollow Road in Liberty Township. The victim has been identified as Mark Addison, 55, of Lancaster.
The sheriff's office says it responded to a report of an ATV crash on private property and when deputies got there, Addison was dead. An investigation determined he had driven the four-wheeler off a three foot retaining wall. Addison was thrown from the vehicle and sustained fatal head injuries, according to the sheriff's office.
The Grant County Sheriff's Office says Addison was not wearing any protective gear. They're not sure why he drove over the wall.
