MADISON (WKOW) -- A 22-year-old Madison man was taken to the hospital early Sunday morning after an argument turned violent.
According to the police report, two groups of men were in an argument around 12:45 a.m.on the 400 block of West Gilman Street. Witnesses told police one man "sucker punched" the victim during the heated dispute and knocked him out. A second man then kicked the unconscious victim.
The victim was taken to the hospital and diagnosed with a concussion.
The man to deliver the first hit on the victim is described as possibly biracial, having a lighter complexion, about 6', with a medium build, a tattoo on his upper back, and a "fade" style haircut. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie over a white t-shirt and "saggy" blue jeans.
