Police making progress in October homicide investigation

Posted: Updated:
MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison police say they are making progress in a homicide investigation.

30-year old Lamontez White was shot and killed at a Fish Hatchery Road apartment last October.
On Wednesday detectives spent several hours re-interviewing family members and others who were in the apartment at the time of the shooting, but police say so far, no one seems to know who shot White.

Lt. Stephanie Bradley Wilson says, "We've talked with family members a few times and we will probably be maintaining additional contact or getting additional information from them because we believe they have pertinent information that would be helpful to the case."

Police say they will continue working on additional leads.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call Crimestoppers at 608-266-6014
