Electrical fire damages barn in Dane Co.

ALBION (WKOW) -- An electrical fire on Saturday damaged a barn in Dane County.

According to the Dane County Sheriff's Office, the fire started around 3:45 p.m. at a farm on Highway 73 in the town of Albion. Deputies were called to respond along with Edgerton, Cambridge, Deerfield and Stoughton fire crews.

The fire caused about $5,000 in damage to the structure of the barn. Luckily, no animals were inside. No one was hurt.

Officials say the fire is not considered suspicious and was caused by an electrical issue.
