STEVENS POINT (AP) -- A California frog scientist is set to speak at the Wisconsin Lake Partnership Convention later this month.

The convention is set to run from April 24 through April 26 at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Convention Center in Stevens Point.  Organizers expect up to 600 attendees, including lake district commissioners, lake association members, lake managers, scientists, and consultants.

Tyrone Hayes, a University of California-Berkeley biology professor who studies pollution's effects on frogs and amphibian conservation, will deliver the morning keynote address on April 26.
