KENOSHA (WKOW) -- Kenosha police were called to the area of 65th Street and Sheridan Road for the report of a shooting.

The call came in just after 10:30 Monday night.  When officers arrived on scene, they found a vehicle had crashed into a home near the intersection.  They attempted to make contact with the 20-year-old driver and the juvenile passenger.  The driver had a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Kenosha County Medical Examiner's Office.

During the initial investigation, it was revealed the shooting had taken place in the area of 58th Street and 11th Avenue, less than a mile from the crash scene.  Detectives were able to identify two adult males believed to be involved in the shooting.  They were located in a near-by home and are currently being held on unrelated charges.

Kenosha police believe this was an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public.  The investigation continues.
