Northwest Wisconsin expecting up to 14 inches of snow

Posted: Updated:
DULUTH, Minn. (WKOW) -- The National Weather Service posted a winter storm watch for late Tuesday night through Thursday morning, and forecasters are expecting 9 to 14 inches of snow in east central Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin.

The heaviest snowfall is anticipated between Duluth and Hinckley, Minn., and in the northwestern Wisconsin counties closest to Lake Superior.

In addition to the snow, winds gusts of 30 to 40 mph could reduce driving visibility to less than one-quarter of a mile, especially closer to the lake.
