MADISON (WKOW) -- With severe weather season here, Wisconsin Emergency Management will be holding a statewide tornado drill on Thursday afternoon.
The drill will begin at 1:00 p.m. with a mock tornado watch, followed by a mock tornado warning and drill at 1:45.
Many local TV, radio and cable outlets will be participating, and will give a "this is a test" message for about one minute, and many communities, including Dane County, will sound the outdoor warning sirens during the drill.
If real storms develop on Thursday, the drill will be held on Friday.
