MADISON (WKOW) -- The sounds of Native American culture will fill Madison College this weekend for Pow Wow 2014.
A pow wow is celebration of Native American culture, where Native people gather for dancing, singing,and visiting with friends and relatives. It is also a time to think of the old ways and to preserve their heritage.
However, pow wows are not just for Native people. Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend and participate.
Doors open at 10 a.m. on Saturday on the Truax Campus.
Admission is $5, but is free for adults age 55 and older, and for children age five and under.
