Wausau hostage situation arrest

Posted: Updated:
WAUSAU (WKOW) -- The man accused of holding a fast food worker hostage near Wausau is expected to be charged later this week.

28-year-old Travis Keiler of Gillett was arrested Tuesday night.

Investigators say Keiler had a gun when he walked into a McDonald's-Shell station in Wittenberg, and held the restaurant manager hostage.

The Shawano County sheriff says depression may have played a role.

Keiler was taken to a mental health center for evaluation, before being moved to jail.
