Doctor stunned, arrested after car chase in Waukesha County
MADISON (WKOW) -- A doctor in Waukesha County was arrested this week after leading police on a high speed chase following two domestic incidents with her estranged husband.
Authorities say 49-year-old Jan Doenier was stopped on Monday after leaving her estranged husband's home where she had been arrested days earlier because of other domestic incident. According to the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office, moments after she was stopped she drove directly at deputies at 60 miles per hour and then drove off.
Officials later caught up with her at the hotel she had been staying at. Doenier was ordered to the ground and when she didn't comply she was stunned by police.
