WISCONSIN DELLS (WKOW) -- Authorities are searching for a man missing after police spotted him in Wisconsin Dells.
According to Columbia County Sheriff's Office, family reported Mitchel Blanchard, 21, has been missing since about 2 a.m. Sunday morning. He was last seen running by Wisconsin Dells police officers towards Broadway early in the morning. That's near the Kilbourn Dam and a bridge over the Wisconsin River.
Officers were not able to locate the Pardeeville man. Sunday afternoon, the county's dive team assisted police, DNR and fire officials in a search for Blanchard, but he remains missing.
Authorities ask anyone with information his whereabouts to call (608) 742-4166. Blanchard is a white male with light brown hair, about 5'10" and 200 pounds. He was wearing brown pants, a white shirt and tan vest with a lavender tie.
