MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- The Republican Party of Wisconsin is endorsing several candidates in upcoming elections.
The party held its annual convention Saturday, announcing the nominations. The delegates unanimously endorsed Gov. Scott Walker and Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch for another four-year term.
Attorney General candidate Brad Schimel was also nominated by the party. Schimel is running against democrats Ismael Ozanne and Susan Happ, both district attorneys, and state Rep. Jon Richards. Outgoing Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen is not running for re-election.
The party also voted to endorse Julian Bradley for Secretary of State. Bradley is the vice chair of the 3rd Congressional District Republican party. Current Secretary of State Doug La Follette has held the office since 1982.
