Flag football game supports Alzheimers research

MADISON (WKOW) -- Sunday at Middleton High School, two teams made up of all women split up in two teams to help raise awareness of Alzheimers.

The Blondes vs. Brunettes flag football game is a friendly competition to help tackle the disease. 27 News Wake-Up Wisconsin Weekend Anchor Katie Priebe and sports reporter John Griffith announced the game.

The goal of the Alzheimer Association's Blondes vs. Brunettes game is to impact families in a positive way.

It was the second annual game held in Madison. Over 3 million women in the U.S. have Alzheimer.
