UPDATE (WKOW) --- Janesville Police say the body found is much younger than missing 75-year-old Mary Coulthard.

According to police, they have a man arrested for a near fatal stabbing who has told police he killed 3 people.

Police have not yet linked him to the body found, but they are investigating if he is connected to it.

Janesville Police ask anyone who has seen anything suspicious in the last 72 hours to please report it to police.  They also say there are no other missing persons reported to them besides Coulthard.

We will continue to update you on this story.

JANESVILLE (WKOW) -- A body has been discovered south of Traxler Park and north of the Janesville Ice building.

According to Janesville Gazette, police say they found a body around 5:45 on Monday.  Lieutenant Jim Holford would not say if the body was found on land or in the river.  Officers believe the body is not that of missing 75-year-old Mary Coulthard.

North Main Street was blocked off from just north of Centerway to the park's entrance.

More information is expected later today.
