MADISON (WKOW) -- The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the three people who died in Friday's double fatal stabbing and officer-involved shooting.

Police were called to the 2600 block of E. Washington Avenue just before 1:00 Friday afternoon.  The two women fatally stabbed are 34-year-old Charity Rae Grossmann and 57-year-old Robin Rae Grossmann, both from Madison.  Robin was pronounced dead at the scene.  Charity was taken to University Hospital where she later died.  Autopsies were performed over the weekend and the preliminary results confirm the women died from homicidal edged weapon injuries.

The suspect, 33-year-old Londrell Emone Johnson, was shot by police and also died at the hospital.

The incident remains under investigation by the Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigation, City of Madison Police Department and the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office.
