MADISON (WKOW) -- A passerby on Raymond Road was witness to an assault Wednesday afternoon.
The witness says three males jumped out of a black SUV as a 15-year-old boy was walking. One of the suspects punched the boy and knocked him to the ground. While the boy was laying on the ground, the suspects proceeded to kick and punch him repeatedly. They then jumped back into the vehicle and fled.
The witness called Madison police and was able to give a description of the vehicle and suspects. Just blocks from the scene, West District officers spotted the SUV and stopped the driver.
It appears this incident was gang related. The victim was taken to an area hospital, but did not suffer serious injuries. Juan Perez (17), Moises Teos (18) and Juan Castillo (19) were all arrested for child abuse.
