UPDATE: Missing Madison man is now home safe

MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison Police have located a man who went missing late this morning.

In a report updated tonight, police confirm that 55-year-old Richard Wilhelm has been safely located and is now back home with his family.


MADISON (WKOW) -- Police in Madison are asking for help to find a missing man who has developmental disabilities.

They're looking for 55-year-old Richard Wilhelm. He was last seen around 10 a.m. Thursday in the 100 block of E. Washington Avenue. 

Police say Wilhelm is 6'1'', 180 pounds, bald and walks with a limp. Officers say he was last seen wearing a blue winter coat and blue jeans.

There is concern for Wilhelm's welfare.

Anyone who sees him should call 911.
