Posted: Updated:
GREEN BAY (WKOW) -- The NFL Draft could be in title town next year.

The Mayor of Green Bay is working to see if the league would come to town. There's a scheduling conflict at Radio City Music Hall in New York for the 2015 Draft.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has said he's open to having the draft somewhere else.

"Not a better place to host an NFL draft than Green Bay. I mean, over 90 years of history and tradition, and we're america's team," said Mayor Jim Schmitt.

Schmitt says Lambeau Field would be one draw for the NFL and football fans.

He also points out that Radio City Music Hall has 7,000 seats while the Resch Center, has 10,000 seats.
