UPDATE (WKOW) -- A Severe Thunderstorm Watch throughout most of our 27 News viewing area has been canceled but the watch remains in effect for Dodge County.

Strong storms are possible throughout the next 24 hours. Stay with 27 News as we track the storms.

UPDATE (WKOW) -- The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Rock and Green counties until 5 p.m. Hail and strong wind damage can be expected.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect until 10 p.m. in the 27 News viewing area in Columbia, Dane, Dodge, Green, Iowa, Jefferson, Lafayette, Rock, Sauk and Walworth counties.

SULLIVAN (WKOW) -- The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Dane County and northwestern Green County until 4:15 p.m. Sunday and until 4:30 p.m. in northeastern Green Lake County.

Severe storms are traveling east bringing strong winds and nickel-sized hail. Damage could be expected in some areas.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect until 10 p.m. in the 27 News viewing area in Columbia, Dane, Dodge, Green, Iowa, Jefferson, Lafayette, Rock, Sauk and Walworth counties.
