FITCHBURG (WKOW) -- The future of the Nine Springs Golf Course property will be decided Tuesday night.
The Fitchburg common council will decide whether it will remain a golf course, or become a park.
Before a decision is made, the public got to offer their input during a study conducted by the Madison-Dane County Health Department.
Jessica LeClair, a Public Health Nurse who helped conduct the study says, "We're wanting to focus on levels of physical activity in the area, opportunities of that, they wanted to focus on something we call social cohesion, which is the relationship between community members and we want to look at safety in the area and environmental health."
The common council is scheduled to decide between the two options at its meeting Tuesday night.
