JORDAN TOWNSHIP (WKOW) -- A crash in Jordan Township in Green County left one woman seriously injured.

The Green County Sheriff's Office says 83-year-old Jacquelin R. Hartwig from Argyle was driving on State Highway 81 near Skinner Hollow Road just before noon on Monday.  Officials say Hartwig lost control and her car slide sideways into the ditch, hitting rocks and boulders on the way.  Her car eventually overturned.

Browntown Fire Department helped with getting Hartwig out of her car.  She was first brought to the Monroe Clinic Hospital, but then transported by Medflight to UW Hospital.

Hartwig was wearing a seatbelt, but her air bags did not deploy.
