Man arrested after attempted stabbing

MADISON (WKOW) -- A Madison man is arrested after trying to stab another man in an apartment hallway.

The victim, a 47-year old Madison man told police he was visiting a relative in an apartment building in the 5800 block of Russett Road, and was in the hallway when 43-year old Christopher James Lee Hill attacked him with a knife.

Police say Hill had been involved in a domestic disturbance with a woman who lives in the building, and for unknown reasons, he attacked the victim in the hallway.

The victim was able to avoid being stabbed several times, and pushed Hill away and was able to get outside to call 911.

Hill was then arrested for 1st degree recklessly endangering safety.
