Aldo Leopold Nature Center to welcome new president

MONONA (WKOW) -- Aldo Leopold Nature Center is informing friends of the organization that Bob Miller will be its new president and executive director.

Miller is currently serving his second term as Monona's mayor. He has also recently served as Director of Major Gifts for Overture Center for the Arts.

In a news release, ALNC Board Chair and CEO Terry Kelly said, “Through decades of service to the Madison and Monona communities, Bob Miller has shown strong capacity, commitment and creativity in fund development, business management, and community engagement."

“I am thrilled to join this wonderful facility and partner with its talented staff to continue the life time work and vision of Aldo Leopold.” Miller said. “ALNC is truly a jewel with its beautiful natural spaces in an urban setting, providing environmental education to people of all ages. I welcome the opportunity to introduce and involve even more children and adults to all this nature center has to offer.”
