MADISON (WKOW) -- The Madison Police Department is looking for a man who robbed a Mobil Gas Station on Shopko Drive early Wednesday morning.

Police say the robber went into the gas station to ask for a single pack of "Swisher Sweet" cigars.  The employee told him they were out of stock.  But later on, around 1:15 a.m., the suspect returned and implied he had a weapon.  He demanded cash and left.

A police dog searched the area, but the suspect was not found.

The suspect is described as a white man who is about 5 feet 8 inches tall.  He was around 30 years old and had a thin to medium build.  He was wearing a black "Carhart" style zippered sweatshirt, blue jeans, and tan skater shoes with white soles.

If you have any information about this robbery, call Madison Police or Crime Stoppers at 608-266-6014.
