Free outdoor activities in June

Posted: Updated:
MADISON (AP) -- Outdoor lovers will get to play for free in Wisconsin next month.

On June 7 and June 8, the state Department of Natural Resources will allow anglers to fish without a license, waive state trail fees for bikers, in-line skaters, and off-road motorcyclists, and waive admission fees at state parks and forests.

Camping and other fees will still apply.

Details on possible destinations are available on the DNR's website.
