FORT MCCOY (AP) -- Members of the public will get a chance to tour a Wisconsin military training base this weekend.

Fort McCoy's annual Armed Forces Day Open House is scheduled for Saturday.  The event will highlight training at the fort and also feature displays on military equipment, uniforms, and artifacts.

Visitors can take guided tours.  They can also participate in a marksmanship test, fill sandbags, and get a personalized ID tag.

The open house is free and goes from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Fort McCoy is in western Wisconsin, between Sparta and Tomah.
