EXCELSIOR SPRINGS, MO (WKOW) -- Police in Excelsior Springs, Missouri have released intense video of a motorcycle and van colliding.

The biker, Britt Hamilton, 20, got up after the impact and walked away. He says the driver of the van didn't yield on the green light. Hamilton says he hit his brakes, but it was too late. "I had the green light and watching you can just see how bad it was. I hit and then went numb for a second and then I started to feel the pain."

Hamilton's shoe flies off his foot, and he flies off his bike. Now, he's back to work. "My wrist is swollen is little bit and my lip is a little messed up. I got a little knot on my leg."

Britt's bike is also damaged. He was wearing a helmet and it stayed on during the impact.

Britt's fiancee Brittany and his 10-month-old baby girl Peyton were in the car right behind him when it happened. "Something I never want to witness again," says Brittany. "Just a scary thought knowing I could have lost him."
