Posted: Updated:
MADISON (WKOW) -- Police arrested a 47-year-old Madison man for Disorderly Conduct while Armed on Tuesday, following a reported road rage incident on the Beltline.

A police report about the incident state both men involved agree they were not happy about the other's driving.

The suspect, Deron McBride, told police the other driver cut him off on the westbound Beltline, near Stoughton Road. He went on to say both cars paced each other for a while before the other drive, a 27-year-old man from Monroe, gave him the finger. After windows were rolled down, McBride told officers the other driver yelled at him and he responded by displaying the handgun.

The victim slowed down, called 911 and gave officers McBrides's license plate number, which they used to find him.

The victim says the gun was pointed at him. McBride says it was not.
