Donald Driver in Madison to promote seat belt use

MADISON (WKOW) -- Packer great Donald Driver is guest speaker at a news conference in Madison Thursday afternoon to to promote the use of seat belts, in conjunction with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation's Zero In Wisconsin campaign.

The former professional football player is a strong advocate for seat belt use.

The news conference is in preparation for the statewide Click It or Ticket mobilization, which begins next Monday, May 19. Driver will be featured in statewide TV, radio and web messages about seat belt use during the Click It or Ticket mobilization.
Former Madison Police Chief Noble Wray, whose currently serving as interim president of the Urban League of Greater Madison, will also speak at the news conference about the need to increase seat belt use among African-Americans.
